Tyler reported that Jenni had a good level of interest with following up with the MHA students and provided the following ideas:

--- Step Out to Fight Diabetes:www.diabetes.org/walk Click on Minnesota to learn of the Walks in Minnesota. Planning and working to get more people, more teams registered could be a project for your group.
Barriers / Issues / Other Comments:
(Tyler wrote) - These opportunities all appear to give us a lot of autonomy which is good (as opposed to hand-holding). My concern would be the (implied) lack of involvement with the people in the ADA itself. Tylers impression was that the MHA students may be given materials, project goals, contacts and then asked to run with it.
